Michael Edgar
Taking an idiosyncratic and playful approach to solving visual and systematic challenges, Michael Edgar is a visual designer interested in testing the boundaries of brand identity. Not one to shy away from experimentation, he’s not afraid to work in new mediums and techniques to get to a final result. Michael is passionate about sustainability, and the impact designers have on the world that surrounds them, and wants to work in a design studio that understands and values that. Part of what feeds his passion for design is the feeling that everything a designer creates impacts the world on some level.
Michael Edgar, has a BFA in Graphic Design, from the California College of The Arts. During his studies, Michael’s passion for typography and graphic design granted him a role as president of the CCA AIGA Student Group, a club for students that were in AIGA (The Professional Association of Design). As president of the club, Michael helped organize a booth for the Design Expo in San Francisco, an interactive experience called “Passion Pins”, where people were encouraged to make their own pins, and trade them in for another one someone else made. The club were able to come up with this idea through a brainstorming session involving sticky notes, teams, and communication, which Michael organized.
